National Park Service (NPS) Programmatic Agreement regarding ESHPF Funding for Hurricanes Florence and Michael and Super Typhoon Yutu

Subsequent to Mr. Griffin’s approval and the DCA Board’s adoption of the Fourth Edition of the Uniform Chart of Accounts for Local Governments in Georgia, additional needs have emerged for finance directors and staff in many Georgia cities, counties, and consolidated governments.

The proposed fund distribution for the second Substantial Amendment to the Annual Action Plan for the CARES Act ESG-CV2 allocation from HUD is $29,498,276.  Below are the eligible activities we are proposing, the percentage of the overall award for each, and the actual dollar amounts.

  • Rapid Rehousing (49%)                  $14,454,155

 

  • Homeless Prevention (36%)        $10,619,379

 

  • Emergency Shelter (14%)              $4,129,759

 

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority will hold a public hearing at 11:00 a.m., August 28, 2020 at its principal office located at 60 Executive Park South, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30329 in Room 202, 2nd floor, or such other room as noted outside Room 202 at the time of the hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for public comment on the proposed plan of financing involving the sale and issuance of up to and including Two Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($250,000,000) of qualified mortgage revenue bonds.
