Public Notice - Proposed Substantial Amendment to the FY2019 Annual Action Plan

Notice is hereby given by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs of a proposed Substantial Amendment to the Federal FY2019 Annual Action Plan. The proposed amendment involves a supplemental allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus (CDBG-CV grants). The purpose of the public hearing is to receive citizen comments on the CDBG-CV Substantial Amendment.

A waiver provided by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) reduces the comment period for Substantial Amendments to no less than five (5) days. The public comment period began on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­December 10, 2020 with the posting on the Georgia Department of Community Affairs website and distribution by e-mail to program stakeholders to inform the public of the proposed Substantial Amendment and inviting comments through December 17, 2020. All parties, organizations, and individuals interested in reviewing a copy of the Substantial Amendment may do so on DCA’s website at www.dca.ga.gov.
