The CDBG Applicants’ Workshop will be held virtually on January 11-12, 2022. The purpose of this workshop is to inform local government officials and other interested parties of the procedures to be used in preparing State CDBG applications. It is designed to provide an opportunity to learn the details involved in putting together a competitive application, to ask questions, and to share information.

2022 GEORGIA SERVES FUNDING OPPORTUNITY
Georgia Serves is seeking proposals from eligible organizations interested in operating AmeriCorps programs to strengthen communities through National Service and Volunteerism. Eligible organizations include non-profit and faith-based organizations with 501(c)3 status in the state of Georgia, educational institutions, and state and local government entities.

Application for Historic Preservation CLG grants to be released December 3 

A grant application package for the Federal Fiscal Year 2022 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) sub-grant program, administered by the Historic Preservation Division (HPD) of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs will be available on December 3.   

The State of Georgia releases the 2022 CHIP Grant Application for up to $7 million in federal funds for affordable housing activities

The purpose of the Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) is to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing in Georgia by granting funds to city and county governments, public housing authorities, and nonprofits to 1.) rehabilitate owner-occupied homes, and 2.) build and renovate affordable single-family homes for sale to eligible homebuyers.
