The DCA ESG and HOPWA Programs application process will open Monday, April 10, 2023.

The DCA ESG Program will have four (4) Q & A webinars offered during the application process. The HOPWA Program will have two (2) Q & A webinars during the application process. Local government entities and non-profit organizations applying for ESG and/or HOPWA are encouraged to attend at least one (1) Q & A webinar.

DCA intends to accept Applications in 2023 for the HOME ARP Non-Congregate Shelter Funding.  This will be through a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) released in the Spring/Early Summer of 2023.  Nonprofits, Local Governments & Participating Jurisdictions (PJs), Community Development Corporations (CDCs), and Community Collaboratives are encouraged to apply. 

Registration for schools is now open for participation in the 2023 GA Student Service Award program.  Also, please make sure you download the Excel Spreadsheet attached to this site that must be submitted with the name(s) of Seniors and certified hours.  Email this form to GSSA@dca.ga.org

Deadline is March 31.

2023 Emergency Solutions Grants Application Workshop Announcement

The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is announcing the 2023 application process for the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program. The ESG Program is designed to provide housing or service resources with the goal of stable housing outcomes for eligible person, as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) is a federal, national service program for 18-26 year-olds from diverse backgrounds, that strengthens communities and develops leaders through team-based national and community service. The Southern Region assigns teams to service projects across 20 states and territories, helping communities address their most critical needs while developing our members personally and professionally.

The OneGeorgia Authority hereby notifies interested applicants of the availability of funds in the Equity and Rural Innovation Programs in the form of grants, loans and any other forms of assistance authorized by (O.C.G.A. 50-34-1 et seq). The Equity Fund is designed as a flexible community and economic development tool which provides funding for projects relating to public water and sewer infrastructure; road, rail and airport improvements; capacity building for industrial/business sites; workforce and tourism.
