Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Georgia Balancer of State CoC will not conduct an unsheltered Point in Time Count in 2021. This course of action has been approved by the Balance of State CoC Board of Directors to protect the health and safety of those in our jurisdiction, especially the vulnerable homeless.
The 2021 Georgia Balance of State Point in Time (PIT) Count date is January 25, 2021. The sheltered count will be conducted by DCA reaching out to homeless services programs in the Balance of State Continuum of Care to enumerate homeless individuals and families that were sleeping in emergency shelter and transitional housing programs on the night of the count.
All activities associated with the unsheltered portion of the PIT count on behalf of the Georgia Balance of State CoC should be discontinued.
