The 2024 Georgia Balance of State Point in Time (PIT) Count date is January 22, 2024. The Georgia Balance of State Continuum of Care is now accepting volunteers for the upcoming unsheltered 2024 Point in Time Count. The 2024 street count begins on the night of January 22, 2024 and is followed by a 7 day service based count. DCA is currently coordinating local count efforts in 39 counties.
To register as volunteer for the count please go to https://georgiabos.pointintime.info/ and fill out the required information and select your county to be added to the local effort. The getting started flyer found at (Getting Started Flyer) provides additional support to register as a volunteer, download the mobile app, and begin capturing known locations in you community.
Please note, the sheltered count will be conducted by DCA reaching out to homeless services programs in the Balance of State Continuum of Care to enumerate homeless individuals and families that are sleeping in emergency shelter and transitional housing programs on the night of the count.
