2019 Emergency Solutions Grants and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Application Workshop Announcement

The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is announcing the 2019 application process for the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) program and the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program.  The ESG program is designed to provide housing or service resources with the goal of stable housing outcomes for eligible persons, as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The HOPWA Program provides resources and incentives to devise long-term comprehensive strategies for meeting the housing needs of low-income persons with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and persons in their family. 

The application process will open on Friday , March 01, 2019 and all applications, supporting materials, and organizational documentation will be due on Tuesday, April 02, 2019 at Noon. 

Please note that there will be a cut-off date for receiving your log-in information for the online system used for applications.  Applicants are able to Register for login information beginning on Friday , March 01, 2019 and ending on Thursday, March 26, 2019 at 5:00 pm.  Information regarding the application process for ESG will be posted on our web site at:  https://dca.ga.gov/housing/homeless-special-needs-housing/emergency-solutions-grants/esg-funding-competition.
