Paradise Estates is a proposed 51-unit, mixed-income development in rural Sylvester, Georgia. The site is situated on 15 acres in a residential setting just one mile from downtown Sylvester. Its central location will also offer residents access to shopping, dining, medical offices, and government services. Paradise Estates will offer units ranging from one to four bedrooms, with 44 units reserved for low-income tenants and 6 units at market rate. Three units are set aside for disabled individuals and families.
As part of the Energy Star program, Paradise Estates will incorporate a number of green design elements, including low flow plumbing fixtures, Energy Star appliances and light fixtures, and energy efficient windows and insulation, among others. The project is projected to generate 86 full-time construction jobs and 4 non-construction jobs.
