Plan Review Tools & Checklists
These documents are the tools OSD and Regional Commission staff use when reviewing local comprehensive plan updates. They cover topics such as completeness of the plan submittal, review procedures and plan consistency. These tools may be useful to plan preparers, local government officials, and interested citizens in the preparation and formatting of their plan update as well as helpful in understanding the process from the reviewers' perspective.

Transmittal Resolutions
Each local government must resolve to send its draft plan to the appropriate Regional Commission for review by all interested parties. The documents below provide language appropriate for each resolution.

Good Plan Examples
The following are plans that OSD staff consider good examples of how to address each component of the Local Planning Requirements. Please consider these examples for shaping elements of your local plan, but don't mimic them too closely! It's more important that your comprehensive plan fit unique local priorities and needs than it is to look like someone else's "good example."
