GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF REGIONAL COMMISSIONS

	ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GEORGIA (ACCG) ACCG serves as the consensus-building, training, and legislative organization for all 159 county governments in the state. It works to ensure that the counties can provide the necessary leadership, services and programs to meet the health, safety and welfare needs of their citizens.

	GEORGIA MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATION (GMA) GMA's purpose is to anticipate and influence the forces shaping Georgia's communities and to provide leadership, tools and services that assist local governments in becoming more innovative, effective and responsive.

	CARL VINSON INSTITUTE OF GOVERNMENT Drawing upon the knowledge and resources of the University of Georgia, the Institute provides education, assistance, research, policy analysis, and publications to assist public officials in serving citizens in Georgia and throughout the world.

	GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES (DNR) DNR is charged with the conservation and protection of the State's resources for current and future generations. DNR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION DIVISION: Watershed Protection Branch The Watershed Protection Branch is charged with ensuring the continued quality and quantity of Georgia's water supply for drinking water and for sustaining the natural systems that depend upon it.

	GEORGIA CONSERVANCY By focusing on clean air and water, land conservation, coastal protection, growth management and education, the Georgia Conservancy works to develop solutions to protect Georgia's environment and promote the stewardship of the vital natural resources.

	GEORGIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPERS ASSOCIATION GEDA was organized to increase the effectiveness of individuals involved in the practice of economic development in Georgia by encouraging cooperation, exchange of information, and upgrading of professional skills.GEDA strives to achieve a closer working relationship among professionals and volunteers engaged in economic development in Georgia.

	GEORGIA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (GRTA) GRTA is a State of Georgia authority that works with communities in the Atlanta region to improve Georgia's mobility, air quality, and land use practices.

	GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF ZONING ADMINISTRATORS (GAZA) GAZA is an organization of individuals engaged in Zoning Administration, Code Enforcement, Planning, and related professions within the State of Georgia to provide a mechanism by which these individuals can come together to promote the zoning profession and seek professional improvement through education, training and networking.

	GEORGIA LAND CONSERVATION PROGRAM The Georgia Land Conservation Program (GLCP) will work to enhance the State's natural and cultural legacy by permanently protecting Georgia's most valued resources through public/private partnerships in a manner that aligns the State's conservation needs with the ability to steward the land.

	GEORGIA PLANNING ASSOCIATION (GPA) GPA is a 1,000-plus member organization of professional planners and planning officials who serve Georgia’s communities in many ways, at all levels of government, the private sector and not-for-profit organizations. It is the official state chapter of the American Planning Association.

	GEORGIA TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION The Georgia Trust's works to promote a greater appreciation of Georgia's diverse historic resources and provide for their protection and use to preserve, enhance and revitalize Georgia's communities.

	UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA LAND-USE LAW CLINIC The Land Use Clinic provides innovative legal tools and strategies to help preserve land, water and scenic beauty while promoting creation of communities responsive to human and environmental needs.

	UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA COOPERATIVE EXTENSION PROGRAM: Radon Education Program The Radon Education Program is a partnership to educate Georgians on actions to take to protect themselves from the risk of developing lung cancer caused by the entry of radon gas in our homes.
