The Office of Planning & Quality Growth provides in-depth guidance and regulatory oversight throughout these processes. PQG offers a wealth of tools and publications to assist in the production and implementation of community and regional plans. Our staff actively provides hands-on assistance to local governments and regional commissions in producing and implementing their plans. In order to facilitate high-quality planning at the local and regional levels, we work to educate Georgia's elected and appointed officials, government staffers and residents about the meaning and importance of quality growth and sustainable development and the incorporation into community policies and actions.
